Excaldāre was born from experience — and the will to rise again.

I started this brand after surviving severe burns that changed how I saw protection, comfort, and strength. During recovery, I realized how few clothing options existed for people with sensitive or healing skin — apparel that didn’t just look good, but felt safe.

The name Excaldāre has roots in Latin, once used to describe the act of warming or bathing in heat — the same root that eventually gave us the word scald. What once meant pain now represents transformation. To me, Excaldāre is about taking something that once burned and turning it into something that protects.

This brand exists for burn survivors, trauma survivors, and anyone learning to rebuild their confidence layer by layer. Our mission is simple: to protect every layer — your skin, your story, and your strength.
